In September 2023 CSM library launched a brand-new dedicated audio space for students to explore, play, and enjoy 6000+ vinyl records and 7500+ CDs, across all music genres.
'The Listening Spot' project has been developed by CSM staff and students and funded by the MTU TLU Learning Community Fund and offers MTU students the opportunity to engage in dedicated listening in a relaxing yet focused environment.
Dedicated listening in support of your academic learning will help ensure you develop as listener-players.
The audio collections are easy to find via the MTU library catalogue, simply find the music you would like to listen to and ask for it at the issue desk.
All the equipment is Bluetooth enabled, so you can use your own headphones, or headphones are available to borrow at the issue desk.
