Wellbeing Wall

MTU Library Bishopstown, are delighted to share with you a new resource aimed at supporting Wellbeing.

Building on our digital Self-Care collection, the Wellbeing Wall is a new library initiative aimed at creating an inspiring and encouraging physical space dedicated to promoting wellbeing. An area on the first floor of the main Cork campus library has been transformed into a bright, positive holistic learning space.

Primarily, it consists of a growing print book-collection focusing on wellbeing, healthy lifestyle, physical activity, nutrition, self-development, mindfulness, pastimes and more. The books are colourfully displayed, intertwined among green leafy plants and positive messaging . It’s a refreshing, relaxing new space so please come to visit and browse/borrow from our growing collection!

Also, under the umbrella of Healthy Campus, it is hoped that the Five Ways to Wellbeing, evidence-based messages, presented on the wall, will guide and inspire students and staff towards a balanced, purposeful and fulfilling lifestyle. It emphasises the importance of connecting with others, keeping active, being mindful, continuous learning and the importance of giving.
