The MTU Library Assignment Toolkit includes a suite of modules that guides students through the assignment completion process and provides a grounding in academic integrity by using best practice guidance at every stage.
The modules include the following:
- Getting to Know Your Library
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Misinformation
- Effective Searching
- Reading Academic Material and Planning for Assignments
- Understanding Plagiarism
- Assignment Writing
- Referencing
Students will receive a digital badge on completion of each module or a higher grade digital badge on completion of all Assignment Toolkit modules.
Digital badges are ‘mini-certificates’ in digital format that you can earn for completing certain tasks or activities. You can include your badges on your CV, your personal profiles, or in your e-portfolio. They tell others (including prospective employers) about your skills and achievements.
